How to 90-day Check-In


Every 90th day after you arrive in Thailand, you must go report yourself at the immigration office. Fill out the form “form for alien to notify of staying longer than 90 days (TM.47)” at the immigration office. There is no fee for the 90-day check-in.

Note
- If you leave the country, your 90-day count will start over again.
- This can be done 7 days in advance but no later than 7 days after the due date. Note: If you do not report to the Chiang Mai Immigration Office within 7 days after the due date, you will be fined 2,000 baht. If you are arrested during this period, you will be fined 4,000 baht.

Check-In in person at Chiang Mai Immigration Office
You will need :
- Completed form (TM.47) Download Form
- Passport
- Copy of passport face page, current visa, last entry stamp, and departure card (TM6)
- A copy of address notification (TM30)


Check-In online process:

     The first 90-day check-in must do it at the immigration office in person only. After you have done your first 90-day check-in at the immigration office, you are welcome to apply for your 90-day check-in using the online system.

By using the online system, you are not guaranteed to be approved and may still need to go to the immigration office to complete the 90-day check-in. However, you can only use the online system 14 to 7 days BEFORE your set 90-day check-in date.
